Rake and Run
Are your students excited about raking the lawn?Well probably not, but they are excited about raking someone else's lawn. It could have something to do with the fact that they will be doing so with about 20 other students. This Sunday at 2:00pm November 8th the students will be doing a rake and run through Perrysburg. A rake and run is where we go to random houses and ask if we may rake their lawn for them. We do not accept donations of any kind we only want to do something kind for someone else. If they consent then nearly 30 people will work together to rake their lawn (which usually takes us about 5 minutes total). Pastor Paul and the youth sponsors will be driving the students from house to house and supervising all of the event. There is no cost to students, but they need to bring their own rake. After the rake and run we will have pizza back at the youth room and some hot chocolate to help us warm up. “The Pulse” will start at the normal time of 6:00pm (so you won't need to come pick them up until after youth group) and will be over at 7:15pm (students are welcome to hang out afterwards until 8:00pm).
